Truss × JobTread First-Month Reimbursement: Terms and Conditions
Effective date: October 19, 2026 · Last updated: October 20, 2026
These JobTread First-Month Reimbursement Promotion Terms ("Promotion Terms") set out the rules for a promotion (the "Promotion") offered by Truss Payments Inc. ("Truss," "we," or "us") to a business customer ("Company" or "you"). Under the Promotion, Truss will reimburse up to $399 of the Company's first month of a new JobTread subscription paid for with a Truss Card, provided the Company also makes a Qualifying Deposit of at least $500. By applying for a Truss Account during the Promotion Period or by accepting a Reimbursement, the Company accepts these Promotion Terms.
These Promotion Terms supplement, and are in addition to, the Truss Terms of Service (the "Platform Agreement"), the Rewards Terms, and the agreements governing the Company's Truss Account and Truss Card. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Platform Agreement.
1. Eligibility
1.1 Promotion Period. The Promotion runs from 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time on October 19, 2026 through 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on November 30, 2026 (the "Promotion Period"), unless Truss ends it earlier under Section 5.1.
1.2 New to Truss. The Company must be a new Truss customer. The Company, and any business that shares its EIN, owners, or principal place of business, must never have held a Truss Account. Reopened, reactivated, or duplicate accounts are not eligible.
1.3 New to JobTread. The Company must be a new JobTread customer. The Company, and any business that shares its EIN, owners, or principal place of business, must never have held a paid JobTread subscription. Any prior JobTread account, including one used only for a free trial or demo, makes the Company ineligible.
1.4 Requirements. The Company must be a business legally formed and operating in the United States. The person enrolling must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act for the Company. The Company's application for a Truss Account must be approved, and its Truss Account must remain open and in good standing when the Reimbursement is applied.
1.5 Determination. Truss determines eligibility in its sole discretion, using its own records and documentation the Company provides, such as JobTread invoices and account creation dates. Truss may deem any Company ineligible at any time.
2. Qualifying for the Reimbursement
2.1 Steps. To qualify, the Company must complete each of the following, in this order:
- Apply for a Truss Account and be approved during the Promotion Period. Approval must occur no later than 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on November 30, 2026.
- Within 30 days after its Truss Account is approved, deposit at least $500 into the Truss Account from an external bank account held in the Company's name (the "Qualifying Deposit").
- After its Truss Account is approved, create a new JobTread account and purchase a paid JobTread subscription.
- Pay the first JobTread subscription charge in full with a Truss Card (the "Qualifying Purchase").
- Ensure the Qualifying Purchase posts to the Company's Truss Account within 30 days after the Truss Account is approved.
2.2 Qualifying Purchase. Only charges paid in full with a Truss Card qualify. Charges paid with any other card, bank account, or payment method, and split payments, do not qualify. A JobTread subscription purchased before the Company's Truss Account was approved does not qualify, even if billing is later moved to a Truss Card.
2.3 Excluded Charges. The Reimbursement does not cover: (a) JobTread users beyond the first 10; (b) JobTread add-ons, integrations, onboarding, implementation, training, or professional services; (c) taxes, late fees, or other fees; (d) any billing period after the first month; (e) upgrades from an existing JobTread subscription; or (f) a JobTread account transferred from another business.
2.4 Qualifying Deposit. The Qualifying Deposit may be one or more transfers that together total at least $500, each received into the Company's Truss Account within the 30-day period in Section 2.1. Only transfers from an external bank account held in the Company's name count. Transfers from another Truss Account, Reimbursements, Rewards, refunds, credits, and any other amounts funded by Truss do not count toward the Qualifying Deposit.
3. The Reimbursement
3.1 Amount. Truss will reimburse the amount the Company actually paid for its first month of JobTread, up to a maximum of $399 (the "Reimbursement"):
| Covered charge | Maximum |
|---|---|
| JobTread base plan, first month | $199 |
| Up to 10 JobTread users at $20 each, first month | $200 |
| Maximum Reimbursement | $399 |
If the Company prepays for more than one month, Truss will reimburse the equivalent of one month, up to $399.
3.2 Form and Timing. Truss will apply the Reimbursement as a credit to the Company's Truss Account within 60 days after both the Qualifying Deposit and the Qualifying Purchase have posted. The Reimbursement is not paid in cash, by check, or to any other account.
3.3 Limit. The Reimbursement is limited to one per Company, per EIN, and per JobTread account, regardless of how many Truss Cards or JobTread accounts the Company opens.
3.4 No Transfer or Combination. The Reimbursement is not property of the Company and may not be transferred, sold, or exchanged. Any attempted transfer is void. The Promotion may not be combined with any other Truss offer for JobTread subscriptions.
4. Losing the Reimbursement
4.1 Disqualification. Truss may disqualify the Company from the Promotion if Truss determines, in its sole discretion, that the Company: (a) does not meet the requirements in Section 1; (b) provided false, incomplete, or misleading information; (c) opened accounts or structured transactions to obtain more than one Reimbursement or otherwise game the Promotion; (d) is past due on amounts owed to Truss; or (e) violated these Promotion Terms, the Platform Agreement, or any agreement governing its Truss Account or Truss Card.
4.2 Clawback. Truss may reverse all or part of a Reimbursement already applied, including by debiting the Company's Truss Account or adding the amount to the Company's Truss Card balance, if:
- the Qualifying Purchase is refunded, credited, reversed, or disputed, or results in a chargeback;
- any part of the Qualifying Deposit is reversed, returned, or recalled, such that the Company's deposits counted toward Section 2.4 total less than $500;
- JobTread cancels the Company's subscription for nonpayment;
- the Company's Truss Account is closed by either party, or is suspended or restricted, within 90 days after the Reimbursement is applied; or
- Truss later determines that the Company was ineligible or is disqualified under Section 4.1.
If the Company's Truss Account balance is insufficient, the Company agrees to repay the reversed amount on request. Truss may also offset the amount against any future credits or Rewards owed to the Company.
5. General Provisions
5.1 Changes and Termination. Truss may modify, suspend, or terminate the Promotion or these Promotion Terms at any time, with or without notice. A Company that completed every step in Section 2.1 before the change will still receive the Reimbursement, subject to Section 4. A waiver of any provision applies only to the specific instance. Any delay in enforcing a right does not waive it.
5.2 Third Parties. JobTread is an independent third party. JobTread is not a sponsor of, or partner in, the Promotion and has not endorsed it. The Company's JobTread subscription is governed solely by JobTread's terms, pricing, and billing policies. Truss does not provide JobTread's software, support, or refunds and is not responsible for JobTread's prices, plans, or services. JobTread is a trademark of its owner and is used here only to identify the qualifying purchase.
5.3 Verification and Privacy. The Company agrees to provide, on request, the information Truss needs to confirm eligibility and the Qualifying Purchase. Truss's Privacy Policy governs Truss's use of that information.
5.4 Taxes. The Company is responsible for any tax consequences of the Reimbursement. Truss does not report the Reimbursement to tax authorities unless required by law.
5.5 Release. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company releases Truss and its affiliates, and Thread Bank, from any claims arising from the Company's participation in the Promotion or its use of JobTread.
5.6 Governing Law and Venue. These Promotion Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and any applicable federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflicts of law principles. Each party irrevocably and unconditionally consents to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Chancery of the State of Delaware or any court of the United States located in the State of Delaware. Void where prohibited.
5.7 Order of Precedence. If these Promotion Terms conflict with the Platform Agreement or any agreement governing the Company's Truss Account or Truss Card, those agreements control, except as to the terms of the Promotion itself.
5.8 Contact. Questions about the Promotion may be sent to help@trusspayments.com or to Truss Payments Inc., 2261 Market St #4415, San Francisco, CA 94114.
